Lauren Ellie MacLeod…

received her BFA in Musical Theatre at Abilene Christian University in May 2023. She was raised near Austin, Texas and received numerous awards for her performances growing up. She was involved in numerous shows at her alma mater, performing as Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza (2022), Woman 1 in Songs for a New World (2021), and singing “By My Side” in Godspell 2012 (2023). She performed as both Olivia in Twelfth Night and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the 2021 Abilene Shakespeare Festival, as well as Princess in Love’s Labour’s Lost the Musical in the 2023 Abilene Shakespeare Festival. She was featured in the short film Cookie Logic, for which she was awarded Best Actress at the ACU FilmFest (2022-23). Lauren is currently based in Austin and has been working with Christian Youth Theater as their vocal director for Frozen Jr., Bye Bye Birdie Youth Edition, and Beauty and the Beast Jr. She is looking forward to continuing her journey in the performing arts!
